Provide support, development and coordination of marketing activities for the National office. Act as Executive Assistant to the Vice President of Sales & Marketing.
The Job
Assist with CDP Visual Resource Library
Coordinate publication of The Master Plan Newsletter support and information gathering
Coordinate updates to CDP website
Coordinate and maintain all CDP marketing materials
Perform meeting/event planning (Sales Rally, National Sales & Marketing meeting, property owner appreciation events, etc.)
Keeper of National Launch & Meeting Calendar
Provide miscellaneous marketing support
Act as Executive Assistant to VP of Sales & Marketing
Arrange travel itineraries
Manage executive calendar and appointments
Use computer software to provide administrative support
Interactions:
Top-level executives in the company
Other division managers and personnel
Vendors and external consultants
Other administrative assistants
Requirements:
2-3 years previous marketing and administrative experience
Bachelors degree with emphasis in Marketing is a strong preference
Experience with the commercial website maintenance
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
Excellent writing and communication skills
Must be able to work independently
Must be able to multi-task and be capable of handling multiple, conflicting and dynamic priorities in calm and steady fashion
Experience in planning and executing meetings and special events
Able to focus on and execute details of a project while keeping big picture in mind
Knowledge and practical understanding of graphic file formats (JPG, EPS, TIF, GIF), image resolution (DPI, pixels), video formats, graphic arts and printing lingo
Software Experience:
MS Word (intermediate-to-advanced level skills)
MS Excel (beginner-level skills)
MS PowerPoint (intermediate-level skills)
Excellent proofreading skills; recognize and correct grammar and punctuation errors
Excellent people-relation skills and positive attitude
Must be extremely resourceful and able to work independently; be willing to take charge of marketing projects.
Must think creatively to analyze and resolve problems.
Superior administrative and organizational abilities.

The Vice President of Sales & Marketing and the Marketing team members all travel a large percentage of the time. As such, the ideal candidate will be self-motivated to complete assigned tasks and to self-manage their time and workload.
